This policy explains what CleaningSitePro collects about you, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are
CleaningSitePro is a website builder for local service businesses. You describe your business, we generate a website for it, and we host that website for you at a .getcleansite.com address or on your own domain.
This policy covers the CleaningSitePro product and this marketing site. It does not cover the websites our customers publish — each of those has its own privacy policy, written by and for that business.
What we collect
Account and business information. Your email address and password, your business name, phone number, service type, service areas, years in business, and anything you tell us about what your business does. This is what the AI uses to generate your site, so it also ends up on your published website — that part is public by design.
Content you create. The pages, text, images, and settings you add or edit in the builder, including drafts you have not published.
Billing information. Your subscription status and billing history. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems — we hold only a customer reference, the card brand, and the last four digits.
Usage and technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and error reports, collected through cookies and analytics so we can keep the product working and understand how it is used.
Support conversations. Anything you send us by email.
How we use it

- To take payment and manage your subscription
- To register and connect a domain, when you ask us to
- To send you service messages about your account, site, or billing
- To answer your support requests
- To monitor errors, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure
- To understand which features are used so we can improve the product
We use AI services to generate the copy and select the images for your site, based on the business details you provide. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our providers are contractually restricted from doing so with data sent through their APIs.
Marketing email only goes to people who signed up for it or are existing customers, and every message has an unsubscribe link.
Who else processes your data
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers that make the product work, each limited to what they need:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
- OpenAI — generating website copy and matching images to your services
- Pexels — the stock photo library your site's images come from
- SendGrid and Twilio — email and text message delivery
- Google — Analytics, and Maps for address and service-area lookup
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Upstash — caching and rate limiting
- Domain registrars — where you register a domain through us, your registrant details go to the registrar as ICANN requires
We also disclose information where the law requires it, to establish or defend a legal claim, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Your website visitors
When someone visits the website we host for you and fills in a contact or booking form, that enquiry is your data. We process it on your behalf, to store it and deliver it to you.
That makes you responsible for how you use it and for the privacy policy shown on your site. We seed every site with a starting Privacy Policy and Terms of Service that you can edit in the builder — please read them and make sure they describe what your business actually does.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and site content for as long as your account is open. If you cancel, we keep it for a short period so you can come back, then delete it. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account and personal information
- Stop sending you marketing
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA — including the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. We will never treat you differently for exercising a right.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and our providers are established platforms with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but if a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.
Where your data is held
Our service providers are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you are outside the US, using CleaningSitePro means your data is transferred to the US, where privacy law differs from your own.
Children
CleaningSitePro is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top tells you when it last changed, and we will email account holders before a change that materially affects them takes effect.
